Teen Perscription Drug Abuse

Prescription Drug Abuse is the fastest drug growing problem in America today. Every 19 min someone overdoses on  prescription drugs. That rate has tripled since the 1990's and pain killers are the biggest problem to blame.

They are abused way more than any other illicit drug for one reason: they are found in everyone's cupboards. Everyone has easy access. Which is why 70% 12 and older can say they got there's from home or friends.

The deaths have doubled in the past ten years by drug-induced, only second to car crashes. The reason so many teens end up with them is because they aren't needed and nobody knows what to do with them, the number one way to get rid of this is to get rid of unused and old perscriptions drugs.

But throwing them in the garbage and down the sink isn't the best thing you can do. Drugs are finding ways into drinking water too more than ever before. Also throwing them in the sink results in fish mutating as soon as the drugs make there way through the water system.

the best thing to do to get rid of unneeded prescriptions and protect your teens is bring them to the government to ensure they are properly destroyed.
